The Palmetto Boys and Girls State programs seek to develop students into young leaders who are interested in local and state governments. Each year, WCCS nominates juniors who demonstrate academic success, leadership among peers, ability to work with others, and an interest in government. Through a series of essays and interviews, one young man and woman are chosen to represent WCCS at the Boys and Girls State conferences. These conferences are typically held the summer before the senior year. Click a button below to learn more about these programs.
