Parents love the early childhood program at WCCS because it is distinctively Christian. Our goal is to help lay the foundation for spiritual growth, while providing the knowledge, skills and dispositions that children need for future academic success.
An incredible opportunity recently presented itself to move our Lower School (early childhood through the 5th grade) to a significantly larger school building in Rock Hill. Click here or the button below to learn more!
At Westminster Catawba Christian School, our early childhood teachers partner with parents, who will always be the primary educators, to support and encourage their child. We know that God has uniquely created every child, and each of them develops according to an individual timeline. Click here to meet the faculty & staff in our Early Childhood program.
Our early childhood teachers are actually “students of their students.” They learn each child’s way of thinking, talents, temperament, strengths, and current stage of development. WCCS teachers also plan individualized experiences to meet each child’s diverse learning needs.
The early childhood learning curriculum at Westminster Catawba Christian School nurtures children and fosters awareness of God’s love. We do this through hands-on learning using both structured and non-structured activities. This helps foster curiosity, imagination, problem-solving, engagement, creativity, discovery, joy of learning, and a love for God.
