*There is a set classroom size for each grade level in our school.  Once enrollment capacity is reached in any given grade level, wait pools will be established.  A wait pool is an unranked list of students waiting for acceptance into a particular grade that is full.  When an opening occurs, the admissions committee looks to meet the needs of any given grade and classroom, taking into consideration the mission-fit of each family with the school and each individual student’s compatibility with the academic, behavioral, and developmental expectations of each grade.

How to Apply to WCCS

From the application process to actual enrollment at WCCS, there are four (4) important steps for each student and family to make sure we are a good fit and can meet each student’s needs well with the staffing and resources available. Below is additional information about each step. Our admissions team is here to help you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

Step 1: Apply Online

To begin the online application process, click here or the button below create an account and complete the Online Student Application for each child. Through our application portal, you’ll have the flexibility to log in and out of your account, and make changes to your student application. You will also have the ability to track the status of your application after it has been submitted. There are non-refundable application fees for each application created. For Infants-4K, the application fee is $100 per student. For grades K-12, the application fee is $150 per student.

Step 2 : Gathering Records

After completing the online application, submit a copy of the student’s S.C. Certificate of Immunization and official birth certificate. For families of infants – 4K students, we also need a completed DSS Form 2900, as required by state law.  For grades 3k-12, our Admissions Office will follow up with your teachers whose contact information you provided in the application for their teacher recommendations.  For grades 1-12, we will also request records directly from your child’s school. This includes previous grades, testing, attendance and discipline records, where applicable. These forms may be sent to:

Westminster Catawba Christian School

Step 3: Family Interview

Once Steps 1 & 2 have been completed and the necessary records have been received, you’ll be contacted by the appropriate principal’s office regarding the next steps in the admissions process. Further testing/evaluation may be required, and all applying families will attend a family interview with the campus principal (students applying for grades 1-12 should also attend the interview).  During this meeting, we will come together to determine how WCCS might best serve your child and discuss options for enrollment.

Step 4: Finalize Enrollment

Once extended an acceptance offer by WCCS, parents will be directed to our online enrollment portal to finish the enrollment process. This will secure your child’s placement in that grade. The online enrollment process includes submission of the $175 enrollment fee paid online, electronic signature of parent pledge, and completing financial agreements with the WCCS Business Office.
