Why did you choose WCCS for your child?

I (Audrey) am an alumnus of WCCS and have always been grateful for the excellent education and Godly and guidance that I received. We want our children to learn and grow under the direction of Christian teachers who love them and love the Lord.

What do you love most about WCCS?

We have been so blessed by our children’s teachers. The teachers at WCCS do a wonderful job of teaching academics with Biblical integration and helping nurture and discipline our children using Biblical principles. Our children love their teachers, and we do too!

What is one word that describes our school? Tell us why you chose that word.

Nurturing. Having preschoolers and now a kindergartner, we are in the early stages of school. We have loved to watch our children grow spiritually, academically, emotionally, and behaviorally due to the diligent nurturing of their teachers.

Describe one of your favorite teachers and the impact that this person has had in your student’s life – or perhaps a specific example of a way this teacher has cared for your student in a special way.

I cannot possibly choose a favorite. Each teacher has been a true gift to my children. This year my oldest is in kindergarten which is a very big year full of transitions, new concepts, new structures and schedules. Mrs. Hoag is an amazing teacher. She speaks and acts in such a relatable and exemplary manner that my son adores her. She has been essential in helping him grow and stretch into this new season. He loves school and is confident in his abilities and excited about what lies ahead – that is all due to Mrs. Hoag’s excellence in her classroom.

How is WCCS preparing your child for God’s call on their lives, including hopes, plans, and dreams for college, career, and/or community?

Jack is being taught daily to do his best, to love others well, and he is cherished for his gifts and abilities. He is, in kindergarten, building the foundations of his world view. We pray he will continue to grow in truth.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at WCCS?

WCCS will do a great job partnering with you on your child’s education. The teachers want your child to succeed and be valued as the children of God that they are.
