The Chiampa Family

“Every day we drop our children off with a complete sense of comfort knowing that they are absolutely loved by all. It is beyond a blessing knowing our children are cared for the way they are at WCCS.”

The ChiampasWCCS Family

The Chiampa family has been at WCCS for two years now and has two boys in our Early Childhood program. Read on to find out why they love WCCS!

Why did you choose WCCS for your child?

First impressions are everything and WCCS stood out among other schools/day care facilities. Our first impressions of the facility and staff immediately provided us with trust and relief of any anxiety that we felt having our children cared for by others. The fact that WCCS also provides a Christian fundamental curriculum is a blessing.

What do you love most about WCCS?

Every day we drop our children off with a complete sense of comfort knowing that they are absolutely loved by all. It is beyond a blessing knowing our children are cared for the way they are at WCCS. Simply stated- we love that we trust others with our children.

What is one word that describes our school? Tell us why you chose that word.

Family. The word family describes our relationship with our children’s teachers, assistants, administration, etc. We can count on them all to do what we would do when we can’t be there, and we feel a connection with the staff that we never expected- much like a family.

Describe one of your favorite teachers and the impact that this person has had in your student’s life – or perhaps a specific example of a way this teacher has cared for your student in a special way.

This question is too difficult to answer. All the teachers have gone above and beyond what our expectations were with helping our children learn about God, Jesus and basic life skills. They treat our children like their own. We are forever grateful for the experience of being a part of WCCS.

How is WCCS preparing your child for God’s call on their lives, including hopes, plans, and dreams for college, career, and/or community?

Although our boys are only 2 and 6 months old, we feel that the school has already improved our boys understanding of God. Our 2 year old, Connor, always needs to read his prayer book before bed and loves hearing “Amen” to all of God’s blessings in his life.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at WCCS?

I would tell anyone that WCCS is the premier Christian School in greater Charlotte. They have a beautiful campus with wonderful administration. Their teachers, assistants and interns are all highly educated, caring individuals. They understand God’s calling in their own lives, ensuring that our children will also learn His path as well.
