Why did you choose WCCS for your child?

As we were considering options for Kindergarten with Sarah Grace, we realized that we wanted her to attend a Christian school. We went to an informational meeting about WCCS and instantly knew that this was the school for our family and for Sarah Grace.

What do you love most about WCCS?

What I love the most about WCCS is the way the teachers and staff weave the Gospel and the Word of God into every part of the school day. Our children come home with stories about the Bible, lessons they learned from speakers at chapel or from their teachers during Bible time, and they sing praise songs they learned in chapel.

What is one word that describes our school? Tell us why you chose that word.

Community. I feel that my children are loved and cared for by the staff at WCCS, and that we are all in community together to teach and raise our children, but also to spread forth the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Describe one of your favorite teachers and the impact that this person has had in your student’s life – or perhaps a specific example of a way this teacher has cared for your student in a special way.

Mrs. Adkins had a major impact on our daughter Sarah Grace. She truly understood Sarah Grace’s personality and how to bring out all the best qualities in our daughter. Sarah Grace truly came to love school through her First Grade year and has continued that love now through Third Grade.

How is WCCS preparing your child for God’s call on their lives, including hopes, plans, and dreams for college, career, and/or community?

WCCS teaches our children in the same manner we teach them at home and at our church. We feel that they want our children to hide the Word of God in their hearts, learn to serve others, and tell others about Jesus. I would be remiss though not to mention that the academic achievement at the school is challenging and our children are succeeding in all aspects of their education.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at WCCS?

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and you desire for your children to continue learning about Jesus while receiving an excellent education, then it is worth it to consider a private Christian school like WCCS. You may not realize you can afford the school, but if you think it’s possible, then it is worth considering. WCCS will have a lasting impact on your children’s lives and your lives as their parents.
