The Kale Family

“You will never have to wonder if your child is with a loving and caring teacher. They will be cared for and guided by teachers speaking and teaching God’s love within their academics.”

The KalesWCCS Family

First grader, Lucy Belle Kale, has made a huge impact on the hearts of our students and teachers at the Lower School. We are so grateful that the Lord brought her family to WCCS! Read on to find out a few reasons they love sending their daughter to WCCS.

Why did you choose WCCS for your child?

We wanted a safe, loving environment for Lucy to be able to engage with her peers and have an opportunity to learn and grow.

What do you love most about WCCS?

We can send Lucy to school everyday and know she is happy to be there, and she has friends. She is truly loved and cared for.

What is one word that describes our school? Tell us why you chose that word.

Loving.

Describe one of your favorite teachers and the impact that this person has had in your student’s life – or perhaps a specific example of a way this teacher has cared for your student in a special way.

Alyssa Hardy! Though she is an art teacher we have told her she has a second calling. Working with special needs children. She is such a blessing to our family. She took on the job this year of being Lucy’s inclusion teacher and without her Lucy would not be having the amazing year she is having.

How is WCCS preparing your child for God’s call on their lives, including hopes, plans, and dreams for college, career, and/or community?

We believe that Gods call on Lucy’s life is showing through the kids in her class. They are showing love and acceptance. Kindness and friendship. They are all so amazing to Lucy.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at WCCS?

You will never have to wonder if your child is with a loving and caring teacher. They will be cared for and guided by teachers speaking and teaching God’s love within their academics.
