The Ruh Family

“We are pleased with the way WCCS not only educates in the classroom, but also in the community with many service opportunities. They are showing the kids how you can use your blessings and share them with others.”

The RuhsWCCS Family

The Ruh family has been a part of WCCS for 6 years! Their son, Jackson, graduated in 2018 and is currently attending The University of South Carolina, and their son, Parker is in the 11th grade. Read on to find out why they love WCCS!

Why did you choose WCCS for your child?

We chose WCCS for the smaller class size.

What do you love most about WCCS?

We love the fact that most of the teachers go out of their way to provide extra time and attention to the students if they need it.

What is one word that describes our school? Tell us why you chose that word.

Committed. If you have a problem or concern, the faculty and staff work with you to find a solution.

Describe one of your favorite teachers and the impact that this person has had in your student’s life – or perhaps a specific example of a way this teacher has cared for your student in a special way.

There are several that have had an impact on our children, two this year are Deanne Regier and Bernie Cooke. Both have an excellent way of providing great instruction and making themselves available to students outside of class if they need extra help.

How is WCCS preparing your child for God’s call on their lives, including hopes, plans, and dreams for college, career, and/or community?

We are pleased with the way WCCS not only educates in the classroom, but also in the community with many service opportunities. They are showing the kids how you can use your blessings and share them with others.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at WCCS?

If you are looking for smaller class sizes, instructors that know your child and their particular needs, and an environment that does not leave God out of the classroom but brings him in front and center, then you need to take a look at WCCS!
