The Williams Family

“We have seen such a change in Coalson’s faith since starting WCCS. He isn’t afraid to verbalize and share his faith and is quick to lean on God when things get rocky. He sees God working through others and he trust what He is doing. His understanding and love for Christ has stretched beyond the walls of our home or church.”

The Williams'WCCS Family

The Williams family is new to WCCS this year. Their son, Coalson, is currently in the 6th grade. Originally, they chose WCCS for the solid academic reputation of our school. Read on to find out the greater, eternal value they found in Christian education!

Why did you choose WCCS for your child?

We initially chose WCCS because we felt Coalson would benefit academically from a small class size but it didn’t take long to realize that what he really needed stretched far beyond that. He needed a Christian education.

What do you love most about WCCS?

We love the grace, patience, love, and sincerity that comes with the Christian education he is receiving at WCCS. WCCS provides Coalson with an environment that is healthy and safe for learning which gives him the confidence he needs to perform at a high level.

What is one word that describes our school? Tell us why you chose that word.

Depth- the attention to detail that is given to every aspect of WCCS should not go unnoticed. It starts when you walk through the doors. Every person there brings something great to the table. They are willing to think outside the box and make adjustments that benefit the children individually and as a whole.

Describe one of your favorite teachers and the impact that this person has had in your student’s life – or perhaps a specific example of a way this teacher has cared for your student in a special way.

Mrs. Hanke, EXCEL teacher, has been a valuable part of Coalson’s growth this year. She is willing to go out of her way to always calm his anxiety and at the same time build him up. She loves him, prays for him, pushes him and supports him beyond the classroom.

How is WCCS preparing your child for God’s call on their lives, including hopes, plans, and dreams for college, career, and/or community?

We have seen such a change in Coalson’s faith since starting WCCS. He isn’t afraid to verbalize and share his faith and is quick to lean on God when things get rocky. He sees God working through others and he trust what He is doing. His understanding and love for Christ has stretched beyond the walls of our home or church.

What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at WCCS?

If you are able to send your child to WCCS and you feel like they are missing something and not reaching their full potential where they are, you should consider WCCS.
