WCCS Class of 2020
Adair Higgins
What grades did you attend WCCS?

I have been at WCCS since the 5th grade.

Our mission at WCCS is “Educating students to bless our world as disciples of Jesus Christ.” How do you believe your time here at WCCS prepared you for God’s unique purpose for your life? What are your future plans beyond college?

Through the WCCS mission trips to the Dominican Republic, I have discovered my passion for helping people. Those mission trips helped me realize what I want to do for the rest of my life.

How has learning in a Christian environment positively affected your education?

I have never felt like a teacher does not truly care about me or any of my classmates. All my teachers at WCCS have been more than willing to go out of their way to help me succeed. The teachers here really care about their students and their futures.

What is a special memory you have from your time at WCCS?

My favorite memory of WCCS was the senior trip to Canada. The whole class grew closer to each other and the chaperones through this trip. This trip was amazing to see all my classmates get out of their comfort zones as well as getting closer.

Has there been a teacher at WCCS that has impacted your faith, education, or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what would you say?

If I were to thank any teacher at WCCS it would be Mrs. Christopher. She has always believed in me even when I didn’t really believe in myself, and she has helped me become the person I am today.

If your time here at WCCS were a story, what would be the theme?

If my time here at WCCS were a story, the theme would be “growing through friendships.” I feel like I have grown here more than anywhere else through the relationships I have with people here at the school.
