I became a member of the WCCS family when I was two. I was in Mrs. Dee Dee Gardner’s preschool class, she was the best!
Our mission at WCCS is “Educating students to bless our world as disciples of Jesus Christ.” How do you believe your time here at WCCS prepared you for God’s unique purpose for your life? What are your future plans beyond college?
I believe that Westminster has given me the tools to disciple far beyond high school. I plan to share the Word wherever I go to college or wherever I live in the years to follow.
How has learning in a Christian environment positively affected your education?
Learning in a Christian environment has planted seeds of God within me and given me the ability to put my faith into all I do. It created healthy habits that I have today and will carry with me always.
What is a special memory you have from your time at WCCS?
A special memory I have of WCCS is debate class. My classmates were awesome and so was the class curriculum. Thanks to Mr. Kidder it is my favorite class to date!
Has there been a teacher at WCCS that has impacted your faith, education, or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what would you say?
A teacher that has impacted me in a positive way is Mr. Aylestock. I would like to thank him for making home room awesome by being a great teacher! He was also my Bible teacher and taught me how to study the Bible in a way that made sense to me, I will always be grateful for the way he introduced me to understanding the Word of God.
If your time here at WCCS were a story, what would be the theme?
The theme would be joy. Throughout my whole schooling career, my teachers have made this experience the best possible while also equipping me with academic and spiritual skills. I’ve been here since I was two, WCCS has been a place I’ve always felt loved and accepted.
