WCCS Class of 2020
Regan Garmon
What grades did you attend WCCS?

I have attended WCCS during my 8th, 11th, and 12th grade years.

Our mission at WCCS is “Educating students to bless our world as disciples of Jesus Christ.” How do you believe your time here at WCCS prepared you for God’s unique purpose for your life? What are your future plans beyond college?

I believe that God has called me to minister to little kids and their families through occupational therapy. It was through WCCS’ job shadowing day that I realized that I wanted to become an OT.

How has learning in a Christian environment positively affected your education?

Learning in a Christian environment brought me closer to my family, my teachers, my friends, and God.

What is a special memory you have from your time at WCCS?

One of my favorite memories from my time at WCCS was when I went to see a sky full of bright stars with some of my classmates on Lake Minnewanka in Banff. It was so incredibly beautiful.

Has there been a teacher at WCCS that has impacted your faith, education, or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what would you say?

Mrs. Mckeown is one of the many teachers at WCCS who has impacted me. Whether I was crying about a break up, or ranting about something silly, Mrs. Mckeown was always there to listen or offer advice. I would tell her thank you for all of the laughs and for all of the wisdom that she has given me.

If your time here at WCCS were a story, what would be the theme?

Unpredictability
