Q&A with Lauren

What grades did you attend WCCS?

11th & 12th grade.

What is your intended field of study at North Greenville University?

Teaching

How has learning in a Christian environment positively affected your education?

It has given me opportunities to learn more about how much Gods creation corresponds with learning and education.

Our mission at WCCS is “Educating students to bless our world as disciples of Jesus Christ.” How do you believe your time here at WCCS prepared you for God’s unique purpose for your life? What are you future plans beyond college?

I do believe WCCS has prepared me to live out my God given purpose, by helping me grow as a student to become a great teacher and to help me lead others to Christ!

What are you most thankful for when you consider your time at WCCS?

My teachers that always are helping me grow as a student and Christian (Regier, Towler, Pettiway, Mrs. Krueger, and Mr. Holz)

What is a special memory you have from your time here at WCCS?

Mrs. Krueger – whenever I’m having a bad day, I can stop by her office and she is always uplifting me or giving me advice. She always makes me smile and laugh. She points me to Christ when I’m doubting or overwhelmed and prays for me all the time! I would thank her for everything she’s done for me and for impacting and influencing me more then anyone else has. I would thank her for being there for me and pushing me to grow my relationship with God.

Has there been a teacher at WCCS that has impacted your faith, education, or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what would you say?

Every day during 7th and 8th period I would go into Mrs. Krueger’s office and we would share snacks and eat chocolate and laugh.

If your time here at WCCS were a story, what would be the theme?

Growing as a student, Christian, and friend.
