Mabry Connelly

Mabry Connelly

I think one of my fondest memories here is just being able to be a part of the theater program. I’ve had a lot of fun memories from the musicals and plays that I was able to be a part of while at WCCS. It has helped me meet new people and become closer to people that I otherwise would not have.

How has learning in a Christian environment positively affected your education?

Learning in a Christian environment has allowed me to find out what I truly believe.  I think it was good for me in the sense that I learned more about Christianity, and it helped develop my faith.

What are you most thankful for when you consider your time at WCCS?

I am most thankful for the teachers who have helped me enjoy my time here.

What is a special memory you have from your time here at WCCS?

I think one of my fondest memories here is just being able to be a part of the theater program. I’ve had a lot of fun memories from the musicals and plays that I was able to be a part of while at WCCS. It has helped me meet new people and become closer to people that I otherwise would not have.

Has there been a teacher at WCCS that has impacted your faith, education, or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what would you say?

I couldn’t really decide on one since there are two people that come to mind. I would say it would be Mrs. Hardy and Mrs. Christopher, since they both have helped me with my personal growth. Though, if I would to thank both of them, I’m not sure I would really know where to start.  Thank you for encouraging me throughout it all, even though still today I don’t think I deserved it. I appreciate all the help and guidance that both of you have given me, and for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself.
