Session Information

We take our responsibility seriously (but with crazy fun!).  Our desire is to see each camper develop their skills as athletes, artists, and scientists.  More importantly, we hope to help them love and follow Jesus more deeply.  So, we brought top-notched specialty coaches to train and inspire your kids to strive for the best they can be and to honor God while doing it. Every one of our counselors has a deep commitment to God and a passion to help kids find and follow Christ.

Families are welcome to choose any (or all) sessions during the summer.

Sports and Ninja Camps: Led by seasoned coaches and counselors, campers will learn the basic skills of their chosen sports in a fun, group format. Through fun drills and small games campers will be challenged and encouraged to step out, try new things, fail a little and hopefully grow a lot. As their skills progress the week culminates with Friday Fun Competition.

Cheer Camp: Camp RISE Cheer Specialty camp teaches young athletes important skills to lead fans and give support the home team! Cheer camp will ensure that each camper will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements, as well as jumping techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as team building and leadership. The week concludes with performing cheers at one of the other Camp RISE specialties such as Flag Football, Soccer or Basketball.

STEM Camp: Your child will dive into the mind-stretching, creative world of STEM. The campers get many hands-on opportunities that will challenge their mind and skills.

Robotics Camp: Camp RISE Robotics specialty camp contains some of the qualities of STEM but with focus on robotics.  Each camper will build their own robot which is theirs to keep.  After learning about its abilities and functions, the kids will build obstacle courses to challenge themselves and their remote control robots. This specialty camp promises to challenge their mind’s creativity and problem solving.

Art Camp: Being creative is a skill needed in virtually every career or life work.  Art is one of those ways to learn creativity and self- expression.  More than simply arts and crafts –  your child will practice skills to help them develop creativity, confidence and hopefully awaken the artist within.

D4C (Disciples for Christ) Program is Now RISE412: This is the RISE counselor apprentice program. 412 refers to 1 Timothy 4:12 which says, “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”  The program is an opportunity for kids to take their first step towards Camp RISE counselor leadership but still have a great time participating in specialties.  Under the experienced leadership of Caleb & Carol Menges, they will have opportunities to learn how to be leaders and put their service into practice.  RISE412 will also have a special time of discipleship and discussion on things that deeply affect the lives of middle schoolers and will help them live a more Christlike life.
