Weekly Themes

Week 1 – Down on the Farm (June 6-10)

Let’s start our summer for a week down on the farm. Our young farmers will learn all about what a farmer’s job entails, but also all about the animals seen on the farm and how to care for them. They will learn about how God cares for each of His animals and how they were designed for a specific purpose, just like us!

Week 2 – Around the World (June 13-17)

Mark 16:15 says “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all nations.” The world is an incredible place with so many different unique and special cultures. This week, we will take a dive into learning about different cultures from around the world and how together we can further God’s Kingdom.

Week 3 –  Nature and God’s Creepy Crawlers (June 20-24)

Get ready for a fun week full of icky bugs and learning about God’s amazing creation through nature. Children will enjoy a nature walk to admire the beautiful earth and spend a lot of time outdoors. The Bible says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” So why not spend the week marveling in His beauty right here in Rock Hill?

Week 4 – Mindy, Body, and Sports (June 27 – July 1)

“I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made” Psalms 139:14. In Romans, it talks about how there are many members in the body of Christ and we do not have the same function. There will be a lot of focus this week on gross motor skills. We were designed for a special purpose, so come along with us this week as we use our talents and abilities to bring glory to His name!

Week 5 – Heroes of the Bible (July 11-15)

In the Bible, we’ve read about David and Goliath, Joshua and the battle of Jericho, Daniel and the lion’s den, and so many more! This week, we will learn about God being our ultimate Hero of the Bible and constantly showing up to save the day! He never leaves or forsakes us. Let’s celebrate all the victories won!

Week 6 – Community Helpers (July 18-22)

Our community of Rock Hill is a wonderful place! That is made possible by all the people around our community helping. There are firefighters and police officers that help keep our homes safe, trash and recycle workers that help keep our town beautiful, doctors to make sure we are healthy, and the list goes on. This week, join us in learning about how to care best for our community, learn from people around our community, and how to best love the world God created.
