Sports Skill Development Camps

This summer, in addition to the RISE Summer Camps, the Athletic Department at Westminster Catawba Christian School is excited to offer sports skill development camps. Although we will continue to emphasize Christian character development, there will be a little more focus on sport specific skill and mental development. Currently, we are offering:

Baseball Camp

Kurt Seibert is the Head Baseball Coach at Westminster Catawba Christian School. Following an All-American career at Clemson that, Coach K was drafted by the Chicago Cubs. After a short stint in professional baseball, Coach K has spent the past 30+ years coaching baseball from the collegiate ranks down through developmental instruction with (Cal) Ripken Baseball. He brings an enthusiastic and positive mindset to the field every day, and your kids will definitely gain lots of instruction from him. Registration opens in early spring.

Ed Addie Basketball Camp

Hosted by WCCS Head Coach Ed Addie and featuring Erik Whaley, trainer at Elite Athletic Training. For Grades 3-9. Registration for the Ed Addie Basketball Camp is administered by QCAA. Registration opens in early spring.

Girls Basketball Camp

Olivia Gregory is the Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Westminster Catawba Christian School. Developing our middle and high school Girls Basketball Program begins with laying the foundation of skill development and a joy for the game with our younger ages. This camp is for those girls who are entering grades 4 – 8. Registration opens in early spring.

Girls Volleyball Camp

Hosted by Greg Mosely, Head Volleyball Coach at North Greenville University. Coach Mosely will be assisted WCCS Head Volleyball Coach, Annmarie Collins, and staff from North Greenville University. 

Middle School Boys and Girls Soccer Camp

This three-day camp will run from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. and is for boys and girls in rising grades 5-8. This camp will be led by Mr. Zambrano, our Upper School Principal, who has many years of soccer under his belt as well as head and assistant coaching in several sports. Registration opens in early spring.
